User Rating:
The music album of the much-talked about Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho is here. Composed by various artists such as Jasleen Royal, Arko, Amaal Mallik, Bilal Saeed and Prem Hardeep, there are six songs in the album and like most films under Dharma Productions, we are expecting the album to be a cracker.
Here’s a look at Baar Baar Dekho’s songs :

1. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
Jasleen Royal makes her Bollywood debut as a composer with this album. She has two songs in this film out of which one is ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan‘. The slow-paced track has been crooned by Jasleen herself and Prateek Kuhad. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan has its heart in the right place and balances the music and lyrics extremely well. This song is winner as an audio track and its placement in the film could make it even more better.
2. Sau Aasman – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
Amaal Mallik is the go to composer for many directors these days. His quality to deliver fresh tracks that are high on feel is quickly getting noticed in B-town. With his brother Armaan Mallik on the mic along with Neeti Mohan for Sau Aasman, Mallik promises a peppy number. The song is easy on the ears and will appeal to those who have commercial tastes. As an upbeat love ballad this is likable enough!
3. Dariya – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
Arko composes one of the numbers from the album. Dariya is a super impressive track from the composer, who also croons it. The beautiful lyrics of this song are a highlight and with a simplistic musical arrangement, the blend is extremely nice. This song has the quality to touch your soul and is probably one of the best tracks from the album.
4. Nach De Ne Saare – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
Jasleen Kaur is here to stay! This may be her Bollywood music debut but I am sure she has many more to come soon. Her second composition in the album, Nach De Ne Saare, is a complete entertainer. The song is high on ‘desi’ flavor and the perfect wedding song for the season. Expect this song to be on the top of your lists if you’re planning any ‘Sangeet’. Harshdeep Kaur and Siddharth Mahadevan lend their voices for this fun track. It is impossible for you to not move to these groovy beats!
5. Teri Khair Mangdi – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
The sad song of the album. Teri Khair Mangdi is a Punjabi number composed by Bilal Saeed. He also croons the track, unlike most mellow tracks, this one has slightly hip-hop style beats in the background. The track is decent but compared to the other tracks from the album, a slight downer.
6. Kala Chashma – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
Prem Hardeep’s popular Punjabi party track, Kala Chashma gets a Baadshah treatment and is revamped in full style for the film. A few changes in the lyrics which give it an altogether new feel pump up this number. Undeniably, this is one track you’re gonna listen to over and over. Neha Kakkar’s powerful vocals clubbed with a sexy tone work extremely well. Baadshah, take a bow! Forget Abhi Toh Party, it’s time to put on the ‘Kala Chashma‘ now!
Last Word – Baar Baar Dekho Music Review
The music album of Baar Baar Dekho turns out to be a winner! It is entertaining, fresh and high on life. My picks from the album are ‘Kala Chashma‘ and ‘Nach De Ne Saare‘ as party numbers and ‘Dariya‘ works as a slow-paced number. I am going with a 3.5/5 for this album.
