Alone, the upcoming horror erotica starring Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover has a tiny four track album. With four different composers showcasing their talents, the album suffers. It relies on mediocrity and other than ‘Katra Katra‘ there is no other track that you would want to listen to for a second hearing.

Katra Katra – Alone Music Review

If only Ankit Tiwari could come up with something new. Though the singer is gifted with a good voice and the composition sounds good, the only problem is that it all sounds the same. The track is slow with a good background score and a brief guitar piece in the mid section, that is quite endearing. More than Ankit Tiwari, what I really fell for in this song is Prakriti Kakkar’s vocals. Overall, the song is a good hear and will surely be a treat for all those who are fans of Ankit Tiwari, who does what he is best at.

Awaara – Alone Music Review

Awaara is a Mithoon track, why do I know this without even checking is because they all sound the same. The composer has a peculiar style and thus all his works have the same feel. Sung by Altamash Faridi and Saim Bhatt, the song is quite disappointing. Even the lyrics do not really help this song pick up much. It is overall the typical Mithoon sad number.

Chand Aasmano Se Laapata Hai – Alone Music Review

This Jeet Ganguli track does not quite blend well with the album. In a weird way, this composition sounds like a 90s number. The song has been crooned by Bhaven Dhanak. In any case, Alone being a horror erotica, the album need not be a big one and I honestly feel, this one could have been avoided completely.

Touch My Body – Alone Music Review

What is the use of remixing an old track and adding it in a album which has no value to it? Well, that’s just what happens with Touch My Body track. This song originally by Rouge and Dr. Zeus has been quite etched into our minds and now Raghav Sachar remixes it. While the only good part in this number is the vocals by Aditi Singh Sharma, the rest is quite the same. You can definitely skip listening to this one, the original is much better.

The Last Word – Alone Music Review

Alone album is a mish-mash. Ankit Tiwari and Mithoon give us their done-to-death compositions and Jeet Ganguli doesn’t live up to the mark. In spite of having only four songs with different composers, the Alone album is not a must-hear one. The album is average and I am going with a 2.5/5 for this avoidable soundtrack.
