The soundtrack comprises of various shades that includes love, romance, ‘masti’ and celebration. In total there are songs in the album that also includes two remixes.
Ajab Gazabb Love Music Review: Boom Boom
The album begins with Boom Boom in the vocals of ‘bhangra’ prince Mika Singh. This one is a peppy party outing that would certainly make you feel happy and also prompt you to shake legs on the dance floor. Sajid-Wajid have quite beautifully blended the sound of loud claps with modern techno instruments to make the outing even more enjoyable. The track is full of life and ‘masti’ with funky lyrics garlanded by Priya Panchal that rightly justify the song setting. This one has a ‘remix version’ as well which would certainly pull you on the dance floors. This club outing is full of energy and sparkle which is a nice treat for the party hoppers.
Ajab Gazabb Love Music Review: Tu
The album moves ahead with Tu which is a slow number set on a low note and has the magic of Mohit Chauhan’s charismatic vocals creating magic all over again. Experimentation with the musical instruments is actually a pleasant treat which further enhances the aura of Mohit’s voice. Lyrics penned by Kausar Munir are easy and captivating that aptly depict the essence of love for the beloved.
Ajab Gazabb Love Music Review: Sun Soniye
Next to arrive is a duet track Sun Soniye which kick offs with a soft and pleasing piano followed by soulful vocals of Mohammed Irfan and Antara Mitra that compliment each other well. This composition of Sajid-Wajid spreads the freshness of love all around even as piano with violin in the background makes you feel cozy with the warmth of love being felt. This mesmerizing romantic melody carries all the more impact due to Kausar Munir’s lyrics which are simple and rhyming, hence resulting in a fascinating and enjoyable romantic outing. The remix version of ‘Sun Soniye’ is quiet similar to the original with a slight difference in the musical arrangements that suit the discotheque and club outings.
Ajab Gazabb Love Music Review: Nachde Punjabi
Last to arrive is Nachde Punjabi, a Punjabi ‘bhangra’ number, in the vocals of Dalvinder Singh. The track begins with the beats of ‘dhol’ which further fuses well with Punjabi lyrics by Sukhjit Thandi. Sajid-Wajid have very skillfully blend traditional ‘Punjabi’ arrangements with the modern instruments though one has to admit that this one doesn’t quite cover a similar distance as the ones preceding it.
Ajab Gazabb Love Music Review: The Last Word
Overall, one can expect the music of Ajab Gazabb Love to deliver since it comes with a good potential and hence has in it to find a position in the chartbusters list. Sajid- Wajid along with their team of vocalists and lyricists deserve their due share of recognition for this soundtrack.
