Tiger Shroff and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer A Flying Jatt is a superhero drama that is all set to hit the theaters this month. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film’s music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.
Here’s a look at the music of A Flying Jatt :
1. Title Track – A Flying Jatt Music Review
The title track of A Flying Jatt is a Punjabi number sung by Raftaar, Mansheel Gujaral and Tanishkaa. The track is a hip-hop style number with Punjabi lyrics. It is one of those numbers that is high on the ‘swag’ quotient. Not an audio track that will enjoy much longevity but neither is it unbearable enough.
2. Toota Jo Kabhi Tara – A Flying Jatt Music Review
Toota Jo Kabhi Taara is a romantic number from the film that will find instant likability. Crooned by Atif Aslam and Sumedha Karmahe, the slow-paced track is soft on the ears and perfect to set a lovey-dovey mood. Sumedha’s vocals bring out a tender feel and Atif can be seen in a different space with this number as this one does not have him singing at a high pitch.
3. Khair Mangda – A Flying Jatt Music Review
A solo number from Atif Aslam, Khair Mangda is a soulful track that slightly reminds us of ABCD 2‘s track ‘Chunar‘. Atif puts his best efforts to make the song high on emotion. The music given by Sacin-Jigar is superb and this could easily said to be one of the best songs from the album.
4. Bhangda Pa – A Flying Jatt Music Review
Taking off with classic Punjabi beats, Bhangda Pa is an energetic number. The dance number has been crooned by Vishal Dadalani who gives this song a dose of electrifying energy. While the foot tapping track takes off big and seems like an entertaining high voltage number, two minutes into it and the song starts to lose its luster. After a point, this just becomes an overly chirpy, Punjabi track.
5. Beat Pe Booty – A Flying Jatt Music Review
‘Twirka De Beat Pe Booty‘! Yes! Those are the lyrics of this trippy, chilled out number. While the video has already created a sensation, the audio track is definitely going to be a party starter. Sung by composers Sachin-Jigar and Kanika Kapoor, the song’s beats are catchy and definitely make you groove in the most lazy manner. It also reminds us of ‘Babaji Ki Booti‘ at certain junctures. This one is set to become one of the most popular songs from the album.
6. Raj Karega Khalsa – A Flying Jatt Music Review
Raj Karega Khalsa is again a Punjabi song that for no reason gets a semi-rock score. The song talks about the almighty and has been crooned by Daler Mehendi and Navraj Hans. The song is irritatingly loud and well, as an audio track is not one that would enter your playlist.
Last Word – A Flying Jatt Music Review
The soundtrack of A Flying Jatt partly impressive. Only a few songs appeal and that’s not right for an album that has as many as six songs. My picks from the album are Toota Jo Kabhi Taara and Beat Pe Booty. I am going with a 2.5/5 for this album.
