Arijit Singh has become every composer’s dream singer. Ever since ‘Tum Hi Ho‘, the singer has become a favorite for romantic tracks. While, Khamoshiyan the film could not do well at the box office, the title track of the film surely became a favorite for many. Hence Arijit Singh deserves full credits for it.

Arijit Singh – Sooraj Dooba – Roy

One of the most popular party tracks of 2015, Sooraj Dooba Hai became a rage immediately after its release. It was amazing to see Arijit Singh liven up this track with his vocals. This song introduced us to another side of his singing as well.

Ankit Tiwari – Tu Hain Ke Nahin – Roy

Ankit Tiwari got everyone addicted to ‘Sunn Raha Hai‘ and in a similar fashion his track from RoyTu Hai Ke Nahi‘ too was well received. The slow paced song has been one of the most favorite from the album.

Divya Kumar – Jee Karda – Badlapur

Portraying angst in a song could be one of the most difficult things for a singer but Divya Kumar did it. With Jee Karda, he made us feel the pain as well as the angst of the protagonist. The fast paced song needed Kumar to sing at a high pitch and we have to say he managed it well.

Kumar Sanu – Dard Karara – Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Listening to Kumar Sanu’s voice after almost a decade was bliss with Dum Laga Ke Haisha‘s Dard Karara. His voice took us back to the glorious 90s.

KK – Aashiana Tera Tu Jo mila – Bajrangi Bhaijaan

Bajrangi Bhaijaan was a film which was high on emotions. One of the most beautiful songs from the film was ‘Tu Jo Mila‘. Packing it up with the right amount of emotions, KK crooned this track to near perfection.

Vishal Dadlani – Gulabo – Shaandaar

A party track with a leisure feel, Gulaabo is a one of a kind composition. Vishal Dadlani singing it with such ease is an even more delight and hence he has to be nominated. In spite of the film, Shaandaar bombing badly, Gulaabo ruled the charts.

Mohit Chauhan – Matarghashti – Tamashaa

Matargashti, the word itself is unique and singing it so playfully was a task only Mohit Chauhan could have done. This fun, peppy track was joyous enough thanks to him.

Arijit Singh – Gerua – Dilwale

One of the most romantic tracks of the year, Gerua became popular not just because of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol but also thanks to Arijit’s soulful singing. The song made everyone fall in love with it quite instantly.
