Here is some amazing news for Riverdale fans. The cast of the show reunites for a season 5 table read. But due to the outbreak of coronavirus, it was all virtual this time. The CW teen drama which is very popular among youth features four protagonists namely: Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, and Jughead Jones. The plot of the show revolves around their adventures in the town of Riverdale.
However, Riverdale’s plot has been criticized many times for being absurd but still, it enjoys a loyal fan base. People had high hopes from season 4 of the show as it was supposed to feature the gang attending prom and graduation. But the pandemic of COVID-19 caused the season to be curtailed.
But the good news here is that the above-mentioned events are now reported to take place in Riverdale season 5, followed by a time-lapse of seven years. This means we are going to meet the characters in their 20s. Sounds exciting, isn’t it?

Recently, Riverdale’s Mädchen Amick took to Instagram and shared a picture of the virtual reunion of the cast for their first season 5 table read. The photo witnesses the presence of Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, KJ Apa, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, and Madelaine Petsch. The caption read, “Our #riverdale first table read selfie tradition is a lil different this year 🤷🏼♀️ Grateful & excited to be back and can’t wait to squeeze these faces in person!!!!
