Sandiip Sikcand is known to be in the good books of most actors in this industry owing to his work and nature but it’s no secret that the producer and creative director is extremely close to the Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi. He treats them like his extended family.
Pre-lockdown we have many times spotted pictures of the three enjoying meals together and even travelling and exploring the world together. In fact, if rumours are to be believed Sandiip and Divyanka were supposed to work together for Kahan Hum Kahan Tum but due to date availabilities, the two could not. However, this time around Sandiip took on a new role and its not for ‘reel’ but in real life as he turned Pandit Ji for Vivek and Divyanka.
The duo welcomed Ganpati home for the first time and the Sikcand household, on the other hand, has been doing Ganpati Staphna every year for the last 46 years. So being first-timers, Sandiip helped them with certain rituals and the Staphna pooja. This year has been different for many due to the pandemic and so while Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi welcomed Bappa home for the first time, Sandiip carved his own idol.
