Heropanti 2: It’s Katrina Kaif VS Sara Ali Khan In The Race To Be The Leading Lady Opposite Tiger Shroff

While Heropanti registered the supremely fresh pair of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon, Heropanti 2 is taking a similar route in a different way. Katrina Kaif and Sara Ali Khan are the two names popping up to play the leading lady in the film.

Katrina Kaif’s last project was Bharat opposite Salman Khan, whereas Sara Ali Khan was seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2. If not for the pandemic, Kat’s Sooryavanshi would’ve been the probable box-office shattering machine. Same applies to Sara, Coolie No 1 should’ve been her last film if not for pandemic.

For Heropanti 2, sources close to Pinkvilla state that, “It’s a toss up between Sara Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif for the main heroine’s role. Unlike Heropanti, the second part will be mounted on a bigger canvas and will have some terrific action set pieces specially designed for it. Not just Tiger, the film’s storyline allows the actress to also show her action prowess. So when they were thinking of an action heroine, Katrina’s name was the first to pop up and they do feel that Tiger and Katrina’s pair will look very good on screen too.”

As far as Sara Ali Khan is concerned, the source adds, “Sara has not done an action film before but it’s not that she can’t do it. Sara and Sajid have been in talks to collaborate on a film together and this will be their first if this turns out to be true.”
