TV Actor Sameer Sharma Found Hanging From Kitchen Ceiling, Reports Claim An Accidental Death!

2020 has not been a great year so far. Apart from the pandemic of coronavirus, we have lost so many gems from the acting world like Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, and Sushant Singh Rajput. Now, another sad news has come from the acting fraternity. Reportedly, television actor Sameer Sharma was found hanging from the ceiling of his kitchen on Wednesday night in Mumbai.

The reports say that it was a suicide that was committed 2 days back. The 44 years old actor was found hanging in his home in Neha CHS building in Malad West. He was famous for playing Kuhu’s father in Star Plus’s popular show Yeh Rishety Hain Pyaar Ke.

As per the report by Mid-Day, “Sameer Sharma had rented the apartment in February this year. While on a round during night duty, the watchman of the society saw the body and alerted the society members. Looking at the condition of the body, the police suspect that the actor committed suicide two days back. No suicide note was recovered the spot.”

Malad Police have registered the case of Sameer Sharma’s accidental death. Senior inspector George Fernandez said, “A case of accidental death has been registered and the body has been sent for autopsy.”

Sameer Sharma had been a part of many successful TV shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Jyoti, and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Du to name a few. His death is certainly a huge loss to Indian television fraternity. We offer our heartiest condolences to his friends and family.
