Avengers: Endgame Trivia #116: When Bruce Banner Left The Hulk Alone Forever In This Depressing Finale

Avengers: Endgame Trivia #116: Hulk which is currently played by Mark Ruffalo has emerged to be one of the most liked superheroes. Though his solo movies didn’t work as much for the character, the Avengers saga has gifted him a huge chunk of fan-base.

But do you know? A comic series Hulk: The End published in 2002, has an ending which will leave every Hulk fan teary-eyed. More than sad, it’s depressing and dark. It’s about the when Hulk was left all alone on the Earth after a nuclear attack.

A trivia published on Factinate states: “In the storyline of “Hulk: The End,” everyone on Earth is killed by nuclear war leaving Bruce Banner to wander the wasteland by himself as an immortal kept alive against his will by the Hulk. Eventually, the Banner part of his psyche dies, leaving the Hulk alone forever, which is depressing AF.”

Well, this is some deep stuff even for a superhero whose power comes out after being on a destructive mode. Also, it’ll be an interesting angle to explore if we see a Hulk standalone ever.

Mark Ruffalo recently was on The Tonight Show and speaking to the host Jimmy Fallon, when he said it was Downey Jr. who persuaded him to take the offer, reports aceshowbiz.com. His own instinctive reaction was: “I was scared. I didn’t know what I could add to what I already thought had been done so well before me.”

The 52-year-old Ruffalo shared that he was hesitant to play Hulk because was only doing “indie movies up ’til that point”, adding: “So I was like, ‘I don’t know if I’m the right person for this.’ And Joss Whedon’s like, ‘Yeah, you are the right person’.”

“Then I got a call from Downey, it must’ve made it to him that I was hemming and hawing, and he just simply said, ‘Ruffalo, let’s go. We got this’. In true ‘Iron Man’ fashion. And then after that, I was like, ‘I guess I have to do it’,” he said.
