Kylie Jenner created history when she was crowned the youngest billionaire last year. For the unversed, the reality star was just 21 years of age at that time. Listed by Forbes, she was found to be worth $1 billion. In a latest development, the Kylie Cosmetic owner’s title has been revoked.
Yes, you heard that right. Kylie Jenner is no more officially a billionaire. Forbes magazine has revaluated her worth, and alleges that the makeup mogul had inflated her net worth. As per the magazine, the KUWTK star sold 51% of her makeup line to Coty. The deal was almost worth $1.2 billion which changes the entire equation in her overall worth.
A statement by Forbes magazine reveals the same as, “Kylie (Jenner)’s business is significantly smaller, and less profitable, than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe. Forbes now thinks that Kylie Jenner, even after pocketing an estimated $340 million after taxes from the sale, is not a billionaire.”

However, the makeup mogul’s lawyer have now stated Forbes’ story is “filled with outright lies.”
“Forbes’ accusation that Kylie and her accountants ‘forged tax returns’ is unequivocally false and we are demanding that Forbes immediately and publicly retract that and other statements. We would not expect that from a supermarket tabloid, much less from Forbes,” Kylie Jenner’s attorney Michael Kump said.
