Crime Patrol actress Preksha Mehta breathed her last on Monday at her Indore residence. What’s more shocking is that the actress was all but 25 when she took the drastic step of committing suicide. Actor Karan Kundrra has taken to his official social media handles to condole the death of Preksha.
Karan Kundrra has also stated that it is becoming more and more imperative that people give more importance to mental health in these testing times. Taking to his Twitter handle, Karan shared a post that read, “’Sabse bura hota hai sapno ka marr jaana’ another television actor has committed suicide and this is what she posted last on her Instagram #prekshamehta this is extremely sad! You were so young.. you had your entire life in front of you! We need to talk more about mental health.”
Calling Preksha Mehta his; ‘little one’ Karan Kundrra further Tweeted, “A look at her Instagram shows nothing out of the ordinary, which just shows how much more we need to care about people around us in these tough times and not just assume they’re fine! RIP little one, we shall pray for you! This too shall pass!”

Karan Kundrra also took to his Instagram handle to mourn Preksha Mehta. He shared an image of his Tweet’s on Instagram with a caption that read, “#prekshamehta RIP! These are tough times but good times will follow! This lockdown is extremely weird! There’s a sinking feeling, there’s anxiety, there’s negativity but we need to stay strong!”
Meanwhile, the police have also found a one-page long suicide note at Preksha Mehta’a residence. Rajeev Bhadoriya, an inspector from Heera Nagar police station, shares, “A one page suicide note was found in Preksha’s room, wherein she wrote about how she tried hard to stay positive through these times but couldn’t. The note said- ‘Mere toote huye sapno ne mere confidence ka dam tod diya hai, main mare huye sapnon ke saath nahi jee sakti. Iss negativity ke saath rehna mushkil hai. Pichle ek saal se maine bohot koshish ki. Ab mein thak gayi hoon’. She had been very depressed about not getting work.”
We hope her soul rests in peace and the family finds the strength to deal with their loss.
