Batman KILLS The Joker & The Latest Episode Of Batwoman Is A Proof Of It

The CW’s Batwoman which started in October last year aired its 17th episode yesterday. Without making it obvious, we know it has the presence of Batman and the last episode also proves why Joker is missing from the series.

When the makers initiated the show, there was no sign of Batman but as the episodes go by, we’ve seen how the writers have made sure to make him feel around the show. Episode #17 titled as ‘A Narrow Escape’ clears the absence of Joker from the show.

In the episode, we saw Batwoman (Kate Kane) dealing with the post-effects of killing the villain August Cartwright (John Emmet Tracy). But that’s not it, things get interesting when she opens up ‘Batman’s code’ and how she has broken it by murdering a criminal. She confesses this to her close associate Luke Fox (Camrus Johnson) and clarifies why she was hiding it from him.

Luke asks, “You think you’re the only one? Ever wonder why The Joker hasn’t reared his head in five years? He’s not in Arkham, Kate. Both you and Bruce stared into the abyss. The question is, how long are you going to let it stare back at you?”

This joins the missing dots clarifying things about how Batman has actually killed The Joker. This is what has happened in the comics but Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight explored a whole new angle towards this. This also clarifies the thing about why Batman has been missing from the show Batwoman.
