Shah Rukh Khan has been missing from the big screen since forever. It feels so at least. He was last seen in Aanand L. Rai’s Zero opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma and film didn’t perform well at the box office. Owning to the failure of the film, SRK is taking his time to sign his next film.
Usually, around this time, we would have been watching Indian Premier League (IPL) on our televisions but due to the coronavirus pandemic, everything has come to a standstill. SRK owns an IPL team titled, Kolkata Knight Riders along with Juhi Chawla, her husband Jay Mehta and Red Chillies Entertainment.
During an interview with Star Sports in a show called, ‘Cricket Connected’, SRK revealed that when KKR won the first IPL trophy for the first time, he was about to jump from the balcony in excitement; it was Suhana who held his hand and caught him.
Reiterating the story, SRK said, “Actually, the first match we won, I was going to jump from my balcony, but I think my kids, I think it was my daughter (Suhana) who caught me.”

He further added, “I could have flown that night, but I settled at home.” Recalling the experience, SRK mentioned that he has never given long lectures to his team like how he did in his film Chak De! India. Zero actor added, “The actor said, “I have been a sportsman all my life at a very small level, so I have never really given them some Chak De! India kind of lectures. I have never done that.”
SRK is one of the most cheerful people when it comes to cheering or motivating his team. We wish that everything gets better soon and if not films, we get to see him in IPL.
