The lockdown in India has left Bollywood celebs in quarantine. While many have been sharing their social distancing stories, Dhadak actress Janhvi Kapoor wrote a long note on what she learnt and discovered during this period and has a message for her father Boney Kapoor, late mother and actress Sridevi and sister Khushi Kapoor.
Janhvi shared the write up and captioned it saying, “Also learnt that I like to write… p.s. wrote this 3 days ago since we started self isolating a little before the lockdown and it had already been a week for me by then.”
Janhvi began the note with a message about her father. She spoke how he waits for his daughters and she has realised it now. She narrated how the expression of happiness on his face that he has his daughters by his side the whole day now is priceless.
Janhvi Kapoor wrote, “I’ve learned that my father misses me. Before lockdown, whenever he was home; he would wait for me and Khushi to come back from work or from meetings or from our friends houses to spend time with us. I would never see him wait. But when I wake up now and go across the hall and see him alone on the sofa smiling because he has us to himself the whole day, I can picture him sitting in the same place wailing alone for us to come home.”

Further, she remembered her late mother Sridevi. The quarantine made her realise that she can still feel her mother’s presence in their house and how sister Khushi is cooler than her.
“I’ve learnt that there are many hours In the day. I’ve learnt that I can still smell my mother in her dressing room. I’ve learnt that I’m a better painter in my head than in real life. I’ve learnt that Khushi is definitely the cooler sister,” wrote Janhvi.
On the work front, Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in Gunjan Saxena biopic, Roohi Afzana and Karan Johar’s magnum opus Takht.
