Ranbir Kapoor was last seen on-screen with Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju based on the life of Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The film turned out to be a massive blockbuster, but it is the former actor that has been missing on the big screen ever since. While his collaboration with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra remains his next, the film has been in the making since forever now, at least it feels that way.
The film will witness Mouni Roy as the antagonist, and the cherry on the top remains to be Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo. There has been many exciting things about the film, that is supposed to be a trilogy but for unfortunate reasons, Brahmastra has witnessed delay in its release multiple times. And it’s happening again.
A source close to Bollywood Hungama reveals the same as, “For now the final schedule involving Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Nagarjuna has been called off until further notice. The so called final release date after several postponements is December 4. It seems unlikely that Brahmastra would be able to meet the deadline.”
Meanwhile, recently Big B took to his blog where he shared a string of photographs from the sets of the film, upon his wrap up.

“So they tell me its a ‘film wrap’ for me on ‘Brahmastra’. And, as is the norm the unit applauds and everyone embraces and the good byes are done. At times they set off some confetti guns… its the done thing they say… really? Sounds more like ‘thank God, good riddance’. Good riddance of the actor… had enough of him,” Amitabh wrote.
Brahmastra: Part One is set to release in five languages — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam — on December 4. The film also stars Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy.
