Kanika Kapoor To Face Murder Charges Over Coronavirus Row?

Famous Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor landed herself in a controversy when she continued to travel and party despite having symptoms of Coronavirus. Before getting admitted to the hospital, the Baby Doll singer travelled from London to Mumbai and then to Lucknow. She interacted with a lot of people with the possibility of putting them in danger.

Now the Uttar Pradesh government may book her for murder if any deaths due to the Corona Virus occur around the places where the singer resided and partied in Lucknow.

Uttar Pradesh’s health minister Jai Pratap Singh who attended a party in Lucknow with Kanika before her admission of being infected is quoted as saying, “There seems to be a lapse on our part. I am going to ask my officers about how Kanika Kapoor went out of the airport undetected.”

Meanwhile a few members from the film fraternity have shown support for Kanika. Celebs like Sonam Kapoor and Mini Mathur got brutally trolled by fans, for supporting such unpardonable behaviour. Her close friend Tanuj Garg requested people to pray for her instead of bashing her.

The Kanika Kapoor issue is being treated with utmost seriousness at the highest levels of the UP government. The singer is currently getting quarantined at a hospital in Lucknow.
