Chhichhore Box Office Day 2: Grows Very Well On Saturday!

Chhichhore Box Office Day 2: Everyone associated with Chhichhore can start feeling a lot better. After a reasonable start of 7.32 crores on Friday, the film had the platform set for itself so that it could grow from this point in. The critical acclaim was there and so was the positive word of mouth from the audience. All that had to be seen was whether this resulted in enhanced footfalls for the film or not.

Well, thankfully for the Nitesh Tiwari directed film, this is what happened as the film showed very good growth on Saturday to bring in 12.25 crores more. A double digit score is always welcome and for Sushant Singh Rajput, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma and co., this has come at just the right time.

The film has now already collected 19.57 crores and there is more to come, what with today being Sunday. If the film continues to grow at the same pace, there is a good possibility of 35 crores mark being reached in the opening weekend. That seems possible as well since Sushant Singh Rajput’s last release Kedarnath too had started on the same lines [7.25 crores] and then had enjoyed a weekend of 27.75 crores. In case of Chhichhore, the word of mouth is even better and that should help the film gain further traction amongst the audiences.

Sajid Nadiadwala has budgeted the film well so that everyone makes money out of it. Of course, a film like this deserves a theatrical watch and as a producer, he must be keenly looking forward to the kind of eventual lifetime total that Chhichhore enjoys. Given the kind of credentials that it boasts of, the film could well turn out to be a ‘lambi race ka ghoda’.
