Join UsLast night, Salman Khan broke to us the sad news of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama, Inshallah, alongside Alia Bhatt as the leading lady, being postponed for next year but also promised to come up with another surprise on Eid 2020. While we are filled with mixed emotions about the same, an exciting news that comes in is that the movie has already sold its theatrical rights and that too for a staggering amount!
Earlier reports of the director’s high expectations finding it hard to sell the theatrical rights were doing the rounds. But now a recent report by Pinkvilla has quashed all the rumours as it revealed, “There is someone trying to do foul play and sabotage Salman’s movie. But now, SLB has sold the rights to Jayantilal Gada of Pen Cinemas at a huge price.”
The amount earned goes as huge as 190 crores for the same. Yes, you heard it right! “Bhansali is also producing the film, along with Salman Khan Films. He has sold the movie for Rs 165 crore plus additonal Rs 25 crore for P&A, which makes it a Rs 190 crore and that’s huge,” reveals the source further.
Looks like returns are already on the table even before the movie going on floors, and clearly, what could be better than that?

Meanwhile, last night the Dabangg actor took to Twitter and posted a tweet about the postponement of the film. Salman’s tweet read, “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!”

Recently, the reports had stated just a month delay in the shooting schedule, as earlier it was August but then it was said Salman & Alia will start shooting in September. But, it seems it could delay further as well and the news is coming from the man himself.
