Multiple times National Award Winning star, Dhanush, who was last seen on big screens in his Hollywood debut, ‘The Extraordinary Journey Of Fakir‘, recently announced something very important related to his upcoming Tamil venture, ‘Asuran‘.

The ‘Vada Chennai‘ actor took on Twitter to announce ‘Asuran’s release date, as he tweeted, “#Asuran #oct4 2019 release”

Dhanush’s fans all across were eagerly waiting to know about the same from a very long time.

‘Asuran‘, went on floors in the month of January this year, and has been in talks from a very long time, and without a doubt, it is one of the most awaited Tamil releases of this year.

‘Asuran‘ will have Dhanush in dual roles, as he will be seen playing the roles of father and son in the film.

According to reports, the film is based on Sahithya Academy Winning Tamil writer, Poomani’s novel, Vekkai.

‘Asuran‘, has Malayalam star Manju Warrier in lead opposite Dhanush.

Apart from Dhanush and Manju, ‘Asuran‘ also stars Prakash Raj in major role.

The film is been helmed by filmmaker Vetrimaaran.

Apart from ‘Asuran‘, Dhanush also has three big Tamil projects in his hands in the form of, ‘Pattas‘ which is being directed by R.S Durai Senthilkumar. ‘Vada Chennai 2‘ by Vetrimaaran and also ‘Enai Noki Paauyum Thota‘, by Gautham Vasudev Menon.
