Nowadays, the actors are quiet vocal and proactive regarding any political happenings in the country. Recently, Divyanka Tripathi of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein thanked Indian government for clearing the bill, which subjects a death penalty to those accused of sexual assault against children.
The bill was approved on 1st August after it was passed in Lok Sabha. It comprises of the death penalty for sexual assault on children and severe punishments for other criminal activities against minors.
Being overwhelmed by the decision, Divyanka tweeted, “My salute to the government for this move! We were waiting for this day since years!”

On Tuesday, the “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein” actress posted her photograph on Instagram. She captioned it: “Divas can’t be created, they can only be discovered… as they lie within us all perpetually waiting to be uncovered!”
