Not Lonavala But Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 13 To Use The Sets Of Marathi Bigg Boss Situated In Mumbai?

No matter how controversial the show may be, it’s what people love and the proof of it is the reality show, Bigg Boss, which has been enjoying its glorious run since 12 long years. Now, the prep for Bigg Boss 13 which will be hosted by Salman Khan has already begun, and this time the location is going to be Mumbai and not Lonavala, unlike the previous years. If you’re wondering why below’s the scoop you need.

Reportedly the set designers have already started the work of the sets at Film City, Goregaon. However, it will first be used for Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, and will later be used for the Hindi version with a few changes. And it is all happening to cut down the cost of the show like Colors is recently doing with all its other shows. Another reason is the inconvenience caused to the celebrities who have to come all the way to Lonavala for the promotions of their movies.

A source close to Peeping Moon revealed the same as, “Since Colors (channel) is cutting down on budget on generic shows, it has affected Bigg Boss’ budget too. They have built up a set for Marathi Bigg Boss which will be used further in the Bigg Boss 13. The set has been built at Film City, Goregaon and the show’s host Salman Khan’s private chalet will be constructed in the Film City itself.”

It is also being said that this season will witness more of social media influencers and stars as contestants, unlike the previous few years which had more of TV & Film personalities competing over a period of 90 days to win the title.
