October Box Office: This Varun Dhawan Starrer Crosses The 45 Crore Mark!

Varun Dhawan and Shoojit Sircar’s October has taken over the hearts of everyone with the unique love story the film has portrayed. The film took a slow start at the box office and went on to collect decent numbers due to positive word of mouth.

October which stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu got a great response from the fans and critics .

The film has completed its 3rd week and it is still earning at the box office. The film collected 36 lakhs on Friday, 63 lakhs on Saturday, 72 lakhs on Sunday, 36 lakhs on Monday, 45 lakhs on Tuesday, 27 lakhs on Wednesday and it dropped on Thursday by collecting 18 lakhs. October now stands at the total collection of 45.36 crore. Given the niche genre, the film has got its due at the box office.

These stable numbers show that October has become a clear winner in terms of profit for its producers along with being the best reviewed film in recent times.

Earlier, On asking Shoojit Sircar about the film, he had said, “It is a very simple film. After the trailer we’ve been getting responses like it is intriguing, thriller or suspense film, there is nothing like that, it is a very simple story. Not a love story, but it is a story about love.”

October is written by Juhi Chaturvedi and produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar under Rising Sun Films banner and it released on April 13.
