Join UsBharat Ane Nenu Australia Box Office: Mahesh Babu and Kiara Advani starrer Bharat Ane Nenu hit the silver screens in Australia yesterday, and it has already started raking in the big bucks. With the film being released simultaneously in over 45 foreign countries, it has already become Mahesh Babu’s biggest international release in his career.
The film has already shown great promise in Australia. Collecting A $168,194 (85.45 lacs) over 35 locations, Bharat Ane Nenu has planted its feet firmly in the ground, projecting good collections during its 1st weekend. Trade pundits also predict that the film will see humongous collections in other countries, especially USA, where it had over 2000 shows. Since it won’t face a lot of competition at the box office, the film is also predicted to do great in northern India, not just in the southern half.
In an interview, Mahesh Babu had talked about his character in the film. As quoted by India.com, “When Siva said my character is a chief minister, I was a little afraid in the beginning. It is because I always stay away from the politics,” he says. “But, when he narrated the story, I was inspired do this film. I also learned a lot while shooting the film.” He also added, “I think this is my finest performance ever. And I will always cherish this.”’

Directed by Kortala Siva, Bharat Ane Nenu marks the second collaboration of the actor-director duo of Mahesh Babu and Kortala. The duo previously worked together in their 2015 film Srimanthudu, which was a success at the box office.
