Salman Khan has been distinctively ruling the Chinese box office, as the movie has crossed the USD $ 10 million mark it has been sailing smoothly on the weekdays. Let’s check out how it has fared on its 1st Tuesday at the China box office.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan grossed USD $ 8.49 million on its opening weekend and has been stayed stable since then. A mini surprise for the movie is it has fared relatively better on its 1st Tuesday than Monday. It has collected USD $ 1.82 million on Tuesday and now stands at the grand total of USD $ 12.08 million (78.49 crores).

Dubbed in Chinese, the film got a wide release across 8,000-plus screens, a statement said.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan stars Salman as Bajrangi, an ardent devotee of Hindu deity Hanuman, and his arduous journey to reunite a six-year-old Pakistani girl — who somehow gets lost in India — with her parents, back to her hometown in Pakistan.

Given the success of Indian film releases in China, the studio and the makers were always confident of the movie’s box office potential in China, one of more promising international markets for Indian films.
