Fukrey Returns To Veerey Ki Wedding – Pulkit Samrat Is Promising Loads Of Fun

His Fukrey Returns was one of the biggest grossers of 2017 as it went on to go past the 80 crore mark. A huge Superhit, it could well have been a Blockbuster had its run not been interrupted by the arrival of Tiger Zinda Hai. Nonetheless, for Pulkit Samrat, the film’s mega-success was a huge shot in the arm.

Now he is back with Veerey Ki Wedding and if the promotion so far is any indication, there is quite some promise of loads of fun in the offering.

For starters, the film is arriving this wedding season and hence the timing couldn’t have been more apt. Moreover, the release date is 2nd March on which Holi falls and hence the festive season should help as well. As for the content, director Ashu Trikha has seemingly come up with a light-hearted entertainer that would have fun, laughs, music and romance mixed up in good proportion, hence promising a good smile through an affair.

As a matter of fact, the first song which has already been released, Mind Blowing (which is sung by Mika Singh), is quite foot tapping and the coming together of Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda seems to be quite interesting as well. Kriti was last seen in films like Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana and Guest Iin London. However, Veerey Ki Wedding has her play a quintessential heroine due to which audience will see her in a different avatar altogether.

What is an added bonus though is the presence of Jimmy Sheirgill in the film. Playing the pivotal role of the ‘big brother’ who wants to make sure that his Veerey Ki Wedding takes place without any trouble, Jimmy seems to be enjoying his time out in front of the camera.

The stage has been set and now it has to be seen how much fun affair does Rajat Bakshi and Pramod Gomber produced Veerey Ki Wedding indeed turn out to be.
