Paksitan’s minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Sardar Ali Shah recently gave out a strong negative reaction to Ashutosh Gowarikar’s period drama Mohenjo Daro. He has asked for an apology from the director of the Hrithik Roshan starrer for committing factual errors and making a mockery of the 5000 year old civilization.

Shah stated that the film portrayed Gowarikar’s figment of imagination and wasn’t connected to the actual history of the heritage site.

According to Shah, the Harappa War and recovery of levy were the director’s imaginative figments that weren’t a part of the history.

Mohenjo Daro bombed at the box office in India and was panned by the critics. We are still awaiting for a reaction from the director or the film’s lead star Hrithik Roshan.
