Rustom continues to be making merry at the Box Office. The game was set right from the first show and that has only continued to escalate till Sunday evening.

The film further got advantage from the fact that today is a holiday, which means the shows even last night were running to good occupancy. Typically, Sunday night gets impacted to an extent but that wasn’t the case with Rustom due to an extra holiday ahead.

The film brought in 19.88 crore more yesterday and with this the collections stand at 50.42 crore. These are very good numbers for the film and are also the fourth highest of 2016 when it comes to the first three days:

Sultan 105.53 crore

Housefull 353.31 crore

Fan 52.35 crore

Rustom50.42 crore

Airlift44.3 crore

While Akshay Kumar has each of his three releases of 2016 in the Top-5 weekend grossers here, what is all the more remarkable is the fact that it is running on the lowest count of screens in comparison. In fact if percentage occupancy is any indication, it is next only to Salman Khan’s Sultan, which tells the tale.

Moreover, to think of it, the film is yet to hit the fifth gear. There is a lot of ammunition left which is yet to be fired and that would be seen today due to the national holiday of Independence Day. It won’t be surprising if the collections turn out to be the best since its release but even on a conservative note, they would be more than Saturday. That would ensure that the film easily goes past the 67 crore mark in four days flat.

Stay tuned, as hefty numbers are on the way for Zee Studios and KriArj Entertainment after this Box Office success.
