Box Office 1st Monday: Sarbjit Witnesses A Drop In Collections

Sarbjit, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda in the lead, managed to take a slow start at the box office. The film showed a decent growth over the weekend. On its fourth day, it experienced a considerable drop as it collected 2.09 crores.

It now stands with a total collection of 16.04 crores at the domestic box office. The weekend collections for the film were quite low compared to other releases and looks like, the week days too are performing dull.

Thanks to the serious genre of the film, the footfalls for the film are quite lower than for a normal commercial potboiler.

Sarbjit is directed by Omung Kumar and it is a biopic on Sarabjit Singh, who was wrongly acquitted by the Pakistani court.
