The Jungle Book continues to add more moolah to its kitty even in its third week. On its third Monday, the film collected 2.92 crores at the domestic box office. It now stands with a total collection of 144.89 crores.
The collections are truly commendable since the film has remained rock steady all through its second week. It has not only become the highest Hollywood grosser in India, but also the highest grossing film in India so far in 2016 since it went past Akshay Kumar’s Airlift [127.80 crores].
The Jungle Book has its nostalgic connection with the 90s kids and therefore it’s getting an immense response in India.
The film starring Neel Sethi as Mowgli has been directed by Jon Favreau and is based on Rudyard Kipling’s famed novel The Jungle Book.
