Padma awards is one of the highest civilian awards of the country. Conferred in three categories, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, the awards were as always announced on the occasion of Republic day, yesterday. Eminent personalities from different fields were awarded and some big names from Hindi cinema such as Rajinikanth, Priyanka Chopra, Anupam Kher were awarded.
