Shuddh Desi Romance Holds On In Week 3 | Box Office Collections

Shuddh Desi Romance continued to remain unfazed in a few theaters across India, despite releases like Grand Masti and Phata Poster Nikhla Hero giving the film some stiff competition. In its 3rd Week, the film made a cumulative of 1.10 crores at the box office. The film’s domestic total now rests at 46.85 crores.

The film has shown a more promising performance at the box office, more than what was expected of it. With a bunch of younger stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra along with debutant actress Vaani Kapoor, the film worked only because of its refreshing story line and newer perspective towards contemporary relationships. The film might earn in lower ranges even this week, but one can easily expect it to wipe out post the release of Besharam!
