Join UsMohit Suri’s Hamari Adhuri Kahani has made an average business of 16.69 crores nett at the Box Office during its opening weekend. The film after having a low start, showed decent growth over Saturday and Sunday. Starring Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan in key roles, the love saga has now entered the Top 10 Opening Weekend Grossers of 2015.
It is now the ninth highest grosser of 2015 and has evicted Ek Paheli Leela and beaten the record of Bombay Velvet.
Interestingly, the film has scored much lower than Mohit Suri’s last film Ek Villain which had its opening day collection of 16.72 crores which is higher than the opening weekend collection of Hamari Adhuri Kahani.
Ek Villain‘s opening weekend collection was 50.70 crores at the domestic bx office and sadly looking at Hamari Adhuri Kahani‘s performance, the film may note even reach 50 crores for its lifetime collections.
