Gabbar Is Back has taken the box office by storm. The Akshay Kumar starrer started off on a brilliant note and of course banked on the holiday and the extended weekend that it released on.

The film proved to be steady on Monday too and Tuesday too has been great. Since the week days face a usual drop, the fifth day collected approx. 5.5 crores. The film now stands with a total collection of 52.25 crores at the domestic box office.

The film has now crossed the 50 crore mark in just five days. Considering that the film has been an out and out commercial film which was a good family watch, the film performed extremely well in multiplexes and single screens both.
