Haider started out on a low note. The film has been lauded by the critics and also the film fraternity, but it couldn’t open well! The film has released along with Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s Bang Bang which has had a massive opening day occupancy. Haider on the other hand witnessed a lower occupancy since the film started its advance booking much later than the other release.

Also Haider being a film that is not an out and out commercial drama, has niche audience. Considering that it has a long weekend to cash in on, the film will certainly pick up in the first two days itself.

The morning shows may have experienced a little average footfalls but the late evenings are definitely expected to pick up as and when the word of mouth publicity spreads.
