Highway : 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

Highway had a decent first Tuesday. The film grossed around 2.15 crores on its second weekday. The five day collection for Highway now stands at 18.05 crores at the domestic box office. There was a slight drop in figures since Monday.

Although the business seems to be adequate considering the film released in not more than 700 screens across the country.

While the film is getting average responses, the first week business of Highway may cross approx 30 crores. The missing chemistry in the lead pair Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda has been a downer for the audience. With mediocre critic ratings and a niche target audience the film failed to deliver up to the caliber of other Imtiaz Ali films.

The lifetime business for Highway to cross even the 50 crores mark is difficult especially since Shaadi Ke Side Effects is up for release this week, thus cutting down on the weekend business for Highway.
