Madras Cafe: 1st Tuesday Box Office Collections

Madras Cafe‘s collections saw a rise on its 1st Tuesday. Banking on the good content, the film earned in the range of 3.50 crores. Though actual figures are still being compiled, trade estimates suggest that the film’s total domestic collections so far has snowballed in the range of 27.50 crores at the Box Office.

Shoojit Sircar’s crisp direction and a refreshing mainstream story that commented in the futility of war, Madras Cafe‘s framing was ace. Though there were obvious flaws in the film’s script but in the end it was a well-told, nail-biting political thriller!
