It has been merely three days and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is already replacing older releases effortlessly. The film that released this Friday has so far had the biggest opening weekend collections of 2013.
On Koimoi’s Top 10 Films of 2013 list, Ayan Mukherji’s directorial Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has so far raked up a cumulative collections of 62.11 crores. With that the film has already beat the lifetime collections of John Abraham starrer Balaji’s Shootout At Wadala.
The latter that has a total earning of 62 crores now rests at the list’s number 5 position after being toppled from number 4. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has now claimed the number 4 position on the list with its 62.11 crores earning.

The film has caused extensive turbulence on the list as a result of which Arshad Warsi-Boman Irani starrer Jolly LLB has been evicted from the list. The film that had earned a lifetime total of 32 crores. It is David Dhawan’s Chashme Baddoor that now rests at the list’s number 10th position. The film that has earned a lifetime total of 40 crores, will now stay secure on the list till another film makes a bombastic entry.
Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has the daunting task of surpassing Special Chabbis (26), Aashiqui 2 and Race 2 from the list but going by the film’s stupendous pace, it wouldn’t be very difficult a task.
