The one who debuted by sitting on the director’s chair for the cine Blood Money, Vishal Mahadkar is all gearing up for yet another crime thriller film with undecided name and star-cast. Blood Money from Mukesh Bhatt’s production, which got a mixed response, starred Kunal Khemu and Amrita Puri, and Vishal got his first break with it.
Vishal spoke about the new script he has laid his hands upon to a leading daily. It is a two-hero film, which would even have two heroines. Mahadkar even clearly stated that it isn’t any gangster centric story or any inspired tale, instead it’s a fictional story with originality intact. It’s a crime thriller.
The flick is in talks to go on the floors this year itself. The star cast has not been locked as of now. They are in talks with few actors, whose names they don’t intend to disclose. After they would have zeroed upon the actors they would consider the actresses opposite them.
Vishal was reported of working upon a crime thriller which would have starred Randeep Hooda and Kunal Khemu, but Vishal clearly stated that the movie had a very mundane and routine story; hence they scraped off the project completely.
Further advancements about the new project are not yet known and would be made known to all says the newbie director.The film is also expected to release this year itself.
