The final collection for Student Of The Year‘s Monday box office was 1.50 Crores on the domestic front. It seems the movie took some advantage from the holiday in some parts of the country.
The movie is still doing quite well at the multiplexes and as per early estimates it has made about 1 Crore on its 2nd Tuesday at the domestic box office. SOTY now stands at a domestic box office total of 59.5 Crores and has beaten Kahaani to enter Koimoi.com Bollywood Box Office – Top 10 Indian Movies 2012.
The movie, with all newbies, is the 10th highest grossing movies in India for the year 2012.

And it doesn’t end here as Student Of The Year has made another 11 Crores plus at the overseas box office. Will SOTY beat Emraan Hashmi’s Raaz 3 with 70 Crores plus to capture the 9th place in Koimoi.com Bollywood Box Office – Top 10 Indian Movies 2012?
This may be short lived position for SOTY if it doesn’t touch 75 crs in India as Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Son Of Sardaar, Talaash and Khiladi 786 are superhot contenders in the Koimoi Box Office India 2012.
Well, that seems difficult considering the multitude of Bollywood and Hollywood releases lined up for the upcoming weeks. However, with the box office surprise that SOTY has ended up giving, you never know!
