English Vinglish made an approx 1.50 Crores at the domestic box office on its 1st Wednesday. The Sridevi starrer now stands at a domestic box office total of 18.25 Crores. Overseas box office collections is about 7.5 Crores brings up the worldwide box office collection to  25.75 Crores.

The movie is doing well in only a few urban multiplexes and the upcoming releases tomorrow will create a tough challenge for the movie to thrive more. Week 1 is sure to be good but week 2 will be the real decider of the movie’s fate.
