Mahesh Bhatt going all out in promoting Bipasha Basu is understandable, considering the fact that ‘Raaz 3‘ is being looked as a re-launch of sorts for the actress. However newcomer Esha Gupta, for whom this is only her second film (after ‘Jannat 2‘) doesn’t have to worry much. If praises heaped by the director on the Delhi girl are any indication, she could well have found good attention coming her way. As per the filmmaker, Esha is not just an actress to watch out for; she would also challenge the best of the debutants this year.

“Now that is quite a statement to make since Parineeti Chopra has already made a splash with ‘Ishaqzaade‘, his own discovery, Paoli Dam, was sensational in ‘Hate Story‘ while Diana Penty too made heads turn with ‘Cocktail’”, says an industry observer, “For Vikram to be so gung-ho about his heroines isn’t something new, considering the fact that once upon a time he was also quite high on Tia Bajpai being the leading lady to watch out for.”

Though Vikram isn’t commenting much on moving on from Tia Bajpai to Esha Gupta, he is obviously quite high on his association with the newbie. Says Vikram, “For me, Esha is the discovery of 2012. Period. She is not just gorgeous but also a fabulous actress. Moreover she comes with great emotional strength. I strongly believe that any girl or woman who has great looks and also knows how to act can shake the screen up. Esha has in it to do that.”

As for Esha being his newest muse, he smiles away stating, “Such tags are for media representatives like you to put against filmmakers like me, what more can I say.”

Well Vikram, you may not say much but we would definitely infer!
