The Dark Knight Rises: Character Posters

The Avengers has definitely set a high precedent for The Dark Knight rises at the box-office, but this game of numbers cannot bother hardcore fans. While the filmmakers revealed a new poster for the latest Batman film a few days ago…

…we couldn’t help but feel a slight lump in our throat now that we have to bid goodbye to the Caped Crusader.

And then adding a bit more thrill to it, we also got three new character posters for finale of Christopher Nolan’s trilogy.

The villain in TDKR happens to be Bane (Tom Hardy), known as the bad guy who broke the Bat’s back. Incomprehensible in the trailers, we hope that Bane will be just as memorable and iconic as The Joker (Heath Ledger).

While Christian Bale reprises his role as Batman, we can’t help but marvel at the rain-turning-to-sharp-rocks in the background.

Anne Hathaway will don the sexy suit of Catwoman in this film.
