Crew Box Office Collection Day 12: Crosses 65 Crores; Will There Be A Sequel?

After being in theatres for 12 days, Crew has crossed 65 crores mark at the box office. The film brought in 1.40 crore* more on Tuesday and that has pushed the collections to 65.54 crores*. The movie is doing strong business over the weekends and then settling down during the weekdays to decent collections.

Since Bade Miyan Chote Miyan paid previews have been cancelled and there is only Maidaan to compete with in the evening shows, Crew would be able to add on some decent collections today as well. Moreover, tomorrow is the national holiday of Eid so evening and night shows would be better for Crew than what they could well have been on a regular weekday.

There are talks of a sequel here and it would actually be interesting if the makers manage to pull it off. In Hollywood, Oceans as well as Charlie’s Angels had managed to get into multiple instalments as the characters were quite loved. It’s the same here for Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon as well. Whether they would be taking a ride in an airplane again or do something else has to be seen but for a change, it would be nice to see a female led film also get a sequel, and then succeed.
