That also made him the joint highest-earning IPL player along with Virat Kohli. His hard work and impressive performance have helped him become the highest-earning player of IPL 2024.
Rohit Sharma (Mumbai Indians)
The current captain of the national Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, also takes home a handsome salary. He is at the #2 spot with earnings of 16 crores for IPL 2024.
It is also worth noting that Rohit Sharma is one of the most successful players in the Indian Premier League. Under his captainship, MI has won as many as five tournaments since 2015.

Rishabh Pant (Delhi Capitals)
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has been consistent with his batting capabilities since he joined the Indian Premier League in 2016. He is the second youngest cricketer to score a century in the 20-over game.
Rishabh Pant charged a sum of 16 crores and ties with Rohit Sharma.
Ravindra Jadeja (Chennai Super Kings)
Ravindra Jadeja began playing in the Indian Premier League in 2008. He has played for multiple teams, including Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and Chennai Super Kings.
Jadeja was the most expensive player of IPL 2012 and currently charges 16 crores for his stint in Chennai Super Kings. Yes, the same amount as Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma.

Virat Kohli (Royal Challengers Bengaluru)
The former captain of the national Indian cricket team comes with a lot of experience and stability. He is the highest run scorer (7,263 runs) at the IPL. He was the highest-earning player in the Indian Premier League until 2022.
Currently, Virat Kohli takes home 15 crores for IPL 2024, which is 12% less than the most expensive KL Rahul.

MS Dhoni (Chennai Super Kings)
Fans would be disappointed to hear that MS Dhoni ranks as the 11th highest-paid player at the IPL 2024. This season will probably mark his last, and the former Chennai Super Kings captain will conclude his innings with a salary of 12 crores for the entire season.
