In a conversation with Rediff, Jaya Bachchan shared, “Amitji, the minute he sees her (Aishwarya), it’s like he’s looking at Shweta coming home. His eyes light up. She’ll fill the vacuum that Shweta left. We have never been able to adjust that Shweta is not in the family; she is out, and she is not a Bachchan. It’s tough.”
Jaya Bachchan said she doesn’t do any politics behind Aish’s back
In another excerpt from the conversation, Jaya shared that she does not do politics behind Aishwarya’s back. Instead, she expresses it on her face, and her bahu can politely disagree if she feels otherwise. Momma Bachchan also described Aish as her “buddy.”
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as well as Abhishek Bachchan have remained tight-lipped about their alleged family issues. Eyeballs were raised when the Ponniyin Selvan actress cropped Jaya, Navya Naveli Nanda, and Agastya Nanda from their family picture last year while wishing Big B on Instagram.
