While Alia repurposed her wedding ensemble to accept her Nation Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi, the actress slipped into an elegant maroon velvet ethnic suit for the dinner gathering after that. A custom creation of designer Raji Ramniq, the Nadira embroidered kurta set featured delicate floral and animal embroidery across its entire length in the front and gold trimwork at the hem of her long sleeves.

Complimenting the plunging kurta with a matching dupatta and slacks, the ‘Brahmastra’ actress styled the outfit with dangling earrings with a precious red stone center, her wedding ring, and a tiny black bindi. Making sure the dress had 100% focus, the actress opted for an open hairdo with the strands tucked behind her ears and a simple makeup look consisting of kohl-rimmed eyes and nude lip color.

While accompanying hubby Ranbir Kapoor to the 141st session of the International Olympic Committee held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre earlier this month, Alia Bhatt looked stunning in a navy blue ethnic velvet ensemble. The Rs 30,000 creation by ace designer Sureena Chowdhri featured an asymmetrical velvet kurta with a matching palazzo and an organza dupatta.

The traditional yet modern ensemble featured flared sleeves, aari, zardozi thread, mirror, sitara bead, and cutdana work. She accessorized the look with statement earrings, a diamond ring, and transparent golden heels. With minimal makeup, a bindi, and a sleek bun, Alia surely looks like royalty.
