Masaan’s 2nd Official Trailer | Ft. Richa Chadha, Vicky Kaushal, Sanjay Mishra

The second trailer of Masaan is out.  Produced by Drishyam Films, Phantom Films, Macassar Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, the film stars Richa Chadha, Sanjay Mishra, Vicky Kaushal and Shweta Tripathi.

Winner of the FIPRESCI prize and Promising Future Award in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes 2015, Masaan has been directed by Neeraj Ghaywan. The film revolves around four characters whose lives intersect along the Ganges: a low caste boy in hopeless love, a young woman ridden with guilt of a sexual encounter ending in a tragedy, a hapless father with fading morality and a spirited child yearning for a family.

The film follows their dreams and struggles to escape the moral constructs of a small town. Set against the divine landscape of Banaras, ‘Masaan’ is touted as a ‘celebration of life, death and everything in between’.

Masaan is set for release on July 24, 2015.
