The movie Gold marks the first association between Akshay Kumar and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Makers of Gold surely hyped up the buzz with an amazing first poster recently and now they have released the teaser from the film.

In the teaser, Akshay Kumar seems quite promising and well prepared for his role in the film. From his look for the character to his dialect, he is totally into the skin of the character. The pace of this short teaser and the interesting events that happen throughout the video has got us all curious. After watching this teaser we cannot keep calm for long and wish for the trailer of the film to release soon.

Staying true to the genre of the film, it is scheduled to release on Independence Day, 2018.

Gold, backed by Excel Entertainment and directed by Reema Kagti, is about India’s first Olympic medal win, as a free nation in the year 1948 at the 14th Olympic Games in London.

Talking about Gold, Kunal Kapoor who is also a part of the film, in an interview to IANS over an e-mail interaction from Mumbai told: “Everybody knows it’s about the first Indian Hockey team that won Gold at the Olympics and it’s a really amazing and powerful story.”

With Akshay Kumar’s suave look on the poster that was earlier released plus in some still that were out from the film, we already are excited for the film. With Excel’s presence, the film will surely be rich on visuals and controlled on budget. Akshay Kumar is prepping up for his next release Padman on 9th February.
