Ungli has started off on a below average note today. The film starring Emraan Hashmi in a key role had a comparatively low footfall for morning shows. The film was mainly being promoted on Emraan’s star value but this film is quite different from his usual genre.

The film has received positive responses from critics and may pick up by the evening shows since the content is being praised. The film may not pick up much in single screens and mass belts considering its urban approach, however a word of mouth will help for sure!

Zid has surprisingly done better than Ungli. It had a decent occupancy for the morning shows. The film is an erotic thriller and thus is expected to perform well at single screens.
